NOTICE: When applying for admission, if the applicant already holds a valid visitor or resident visa and is legally residing in Taiwan, and the purpose of the previous stay has ended but the applicant wishes to continue studying in Taiwan, whether the visa can be converted within Taiwan is subjected to the decision of the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If the application is not approved, the applicant must leave Taiwan and apply for a new student residence visa at a Taiwanese mission abroad.
