Document authentication means that your academic documents (such as diplomas and transcripts) must be verified and stamped by a Taiwan Overseas Mission (TECO). This process confirms that your documents are official and valid for use in Taiwan.

文件驗證是指你的學術文件（如畢業證書、成績單）必須經過 台灣駐外館處 (TECO) 的審核並加蓋官方印章。這個程序是為了確認你的文件在台灣使用時具有官方效力且真實有效。

Before starting your application, please clarify the following concepts:

• Language # Authentication: Submitting documents in English does NOT mean they are authenticated.
• School Issue # Authentication: Documents issued by your school are NOT considered authenticated.
• Authorized Authority: Authentication must be completed by a Taiwan Overseas Mission (Embassy / Representative Office, collectively known as TECO).

在開始申請前，請務必釐清以下觀念： 

• 語言不等於驗證: 提交英文版文件並不代表該文件已完成驗證。
• 學校核發不等於驗證: 由原就讀學校核發的文件（即使有校方印章）不被視為已驗證文件。
• 權責單位: 驗證程序必須由台灣駐外代表處、辦事處或大使館（統稱 TECO）完成。

Please bring the following documents to the nearest Taiwan Overseas Mission (TECO) in your country:

1. Your Diploma (Original and copy)

2. Your Academic Transcripts (Original and copy)

3. Required Translations (If applicable)

Result: TECO will review your documents and place an official stamp to certify them.

請攜帶下列文件至你所在國家最鄰近的 台灣駐外館處 (TECO) 進行辦理：

1. 學位證書 (Original and copy)

2. 歷年成績單 (Original and copy)

3. 翻譯件 (若適用)

驗證結果: TECO 將會審核你的文件並加蓋官方印章以茲證明。 

If you cannot obtain authentication in time due to tight deadlines, you may:

1. Submit the Deposition: (Deposition for the Submission of Required Documents)。 Submit the "Deposition for the Submission of Required Documents".

2. Submit Current Documents: Submit your current documents before the application deadline.

Note: If admitted, you must submit the authenticated documents by the specified deadline.

如果你因為時間緊迫無法及時取得驗證，你可以：

1. 提交切結書 : 填寫並上傳《補繳文件切結書》

2. 先繳交現有文件: 先在申請截止日前提交目前手邊有的原始文件。 

注意: 若獲得錄取，你仍必須在學校規定的最終期限前，補交完整的驗證文件。

Consequences of Failure: Failure to submit authenticated documents within the required timeframe may result in the revocation of your admission offer. Please plan ahead!

逾期後果: 若未能於規定期限內提交經 TECO 驗證的文件，學校有權撤銷 (Revoke) 你的錄取資格。請務必提早規劃！
