All business activities, from ordering takeout to selecting courses and checking grades, can be done using apps on mobile phones - this is the skill of Information Management students, and a source of their achievement. According to Dr. Lin, Shu-Chiung, students in Information Management are cross-disciplinary "standard T-shaped talents" who understand both information technology and business management.

      The "Service Robot" course taught by Dr. Hu, Chih-Chien is the best example of combining information and management in a cross-disciplinary way. The course focus on teachinges robots to interact and chat with humans. Through natural language processing and deep learning, the robot plays multiple roles, serving as a customer service representative to answer questions, a salesperson to introduce products, and even an English teacher for children. It was born earlier than the popular ChatGPT and is more personable.

      In addition, the senior projects is a capstone course, providing Information Management students with a good opportunity to validate what they have learned. Dr. Huang, Hsieh-Chang reminds students to find meaningful problems and then use IT technology to solve them. For example, the traffic congestion problem during rush hour in Taipei's Neihu has been a nightmare for commuters for many years. However, "through image processing and artificial intelligence technology, recording the traffic flow at important intersections, and conducting big data analysis of traffic," there are solutions to the traffic problem.

      Information management talents are in high demand, and large companies, governments, banks, hospitals, and other institutions need information management talents with AI, cloud computing, and data service-related skills to carry out digital transformation. "Information management is a fickle subject!" Dr. Chen, Ming-Hsien encourages Information Management students to be constantly updated and to learn how to break down new information technology.
